Saturday Staff

At De Bolster, we work on 100% organic seeds for future-proof agriculture. We breed, produce and sell organic seeds both nationally and internationally. On Saturdays, we could really use your help!

This is what you will be doing

It is a diverse part-time job with tasks that change throughout the season. From May to October, you will work in the greenhouses and in the fields, performing all kinds of common tasks, from pollinating flowers to hoeing weeds. You will be physically active and always enjoy the fresh air. From November to April, you will assist with various tasks such as packaging seeds and picking orders for our customers. You will work with a friendly group of students under the guidance of a permanent Bolster team member.

This is who we are looking for

  • You are at least 14 years old
  • You have a proactive, hands-on mentality
  • You don’t mind a few raindrops
  • You are a non-smoker, to limit the risk of transferring plant viruses

This is what we offer

  • Good compensation for your efforts (more than at the supermarket! See the wage table below)
  • Educational and varied work
  • A fun team full of peers. Everyone usually sticks around for a bit afterwards
  • You contribute to a better world
  • In July and August, you work on weekdays during the school holidays. Saturdays are then cancelled

Working hours

In June, July, and August, we start at 07:00 AM. We take regular breaks to rest, and your workday ends at 3:15 PM. From September to May, the working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
